It's December! So much to do, so little time.
10 years ago, December meant Holiday parties and hangovers. Now, it means finding my family fun things to do in Denver. I'm all over it this year. Here are just a few things you and your family can do this month...
The Denver Zoo brings a bunch of animals to life with holiday lights, while the real animals stay inside where it's warm. Zoo Lights is open from 5:30 p.m. - 9 p.m. every day from Nov. 30, 2012 – Jan. 2, 2013. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and $6 for children. Zoo members receive a $2 discount on tickets.
Olde Golden Christmas on Parade
In December, the streets of Golden come alive with Santa on a unicycle, Victorian carolers, and more. The parade winds its way along Washington St. at 11 a.m on Sat. Dec. 1, Sat. Dec. 8, Sat. Dec. 15 and Sat. Dec. 22. Free horse-drawn carriage rides are also offered. Free admission and free parking.
Keep checking back for more things to do in and around the Denver area....
