Furry Scurry 2015

KYGO is a proud supporter of Furry Scurry! It’s time to fetch your sneakers and your furry friend for the single largest dog walk in the nation—the 22nd annual Furry Scurry on Saturday, May 2, at Washington Park! Denver’s favorite party for pooches, the Furry Scurry has become a Colorado classic where thousands of people and their dogs take a spring stroll to help homeless pets. You can register in advance at FurryScurry.org, in person at one of the Dumb Friends League shelters, or on event day starting at 7 a.m. Register today and start collecting donations for great incentives. Proceeds benefit Dumb Friends League programs and services, including adoptions, medical care and humane education. Registration is $50 for adults or $25 for children 12 and younger, and includes an official Furry Scurry event T-shirt. You don’t have to have a dog to participate. You can walk in honor of a pet or person—the only requirement is that you want to help animals! Participants enjoy shopping at the Flealess Market, interactive activities with their dogs and demos from local dog clubs. You don’t even have to attend the event to make a difference for homeless pets. The 28th Annual Cinco de Mayo Festival is MUY CALIENTE! Taking place on May 2nd and 3rd in Downtown Denver Civic Center Park, 10 am to 8 pm both days. Colorado Remembers at the Colorado Freedom Memorial

The Denver Brass presents the 2nd Anniversary of the Colorado Freedom Memorial! Join us for a free concert on May 23rd at 7pm.

Rocky Mountain Airshow

KYGO is a proud sponsor of the Rocky Mountain Airshow hosted by CSA! This family-oriented Airshow features up to 400 aircraft from around the country, building workshops for adults (welding, sheet metal, riveting techniques, etc.) and youth (ESTES model rocketry, balsa aircraft, rib building, etc.) and activities designed specifically for young people can be found in the Adventure Zone. Over the course of this the three-day event, the FAA and industry leaders will present over 20 educational and safety forums. Space has been allocated for exhibitors’ technology, safety, construction and special interests and various food vendors will be onsite providing a wide range of meals and sundries. One of the highlights for almost everyone who attends is the daily Airshow which includes exciting aviation performers - something for everyone! PLUS after 18 years The USAF Thunderbirds are returning for this year’s event! Click here for more information!

CDOT Helping Hands Golf Tournament

Like to golf? Then sign up for the Helping Hand Golf Tournament that is being held on June 6, 2015 at Saddleback Golf Club. Helping Hand is a Non-Profit Public Charity, 501(c)(3), that has been established to help current and retired CDOT workers that are in need of help. They also help families of CDOT employees that have been killed in the line of duty. There are times in our lives when we all need help and that is the reason this charity was established.
