Rick, a Denver native, was KYGO's first morning personality starting in the summer of 1980.
KYGO is proud to welcome Rick back to the Denver air-waves every Sunday night from 7PM to 10PM!

ABOUT THE SHOW
The music is selected from the greatest stars and songs in country music history. There are no restrictions. If you are a country fan, you'll know most of the songs.

With a good dose of fun and respect, Rick presents the songs with colorful stories and information about the music, singers, songwriters, and behind-the-scenes players.

Each show features a theme which brings a dynamic feel to each show. Past offerings have included: The Sun Sessions on Rockabilly; Country Crime; Million Sellers; Silverscreen Country; and Country Crossovers. Holiday shows are especially enjoyable and Rick ties everything together with just the right blend of story and song. His sincere interest in, passion for, and love of country music is matched only by his listeners.

ABOUT RICK
Rick has enjoyed a 36 year working man's career in country music. Behind the microphone and on stage, Rick has met nearly all of country music's brightest stars.

He started his career in country radio in 1974 and served as the first morning personality for KYGO-FM in Denver, Colorado from 1980 to 1990. Rick was also KYGO's program director and is currently the Senior Vice President and General Manager of KSON, KBZT and KIFM in San Diego, California.

Rick's friendly, entertaining style and uncommon knowledge of the music and it's legacy give him the perfect blend of style and substance to bring his listeners the most unique country music show in radio. Rick is the real deal!!
