We talked this morning about how cell phones will not automatically receive reverse 9-1-1 calls from your county.
That's because communities use the traditional 9-1-1 database (formed by land lines) to make these reverse calls in emergencies.
So you have to manually register your cell phone in order to receive alerts, such as the alert to evacute which was sent to Boulder County residents near the Gold Hill

Yep, this driving program is exactly as it sounds! The Wheels in Heels program is run by Colorado race car drivers who had a goal to educate and excite other women about driving. They offer classes that teach drivers the limits of their own cars by practicing sharp stops and swerves. Women learn how to safely avoid animals, people, or other cars. Mainly it helps students build confidence in their own driving.
